I just couldn't resist the opportunity to share the great things happening at East Noble Schools. A few weeks ago, our Superintendent was chosen among approximately only 200 schools in the nation to attend a conference at the White House about future-ready education. For the last four years, since East Noble first pioneered 1:1 computing in our area, teachers have worked very hard to grow in their practice to seamlessly integrate technology into the everyday business of reading, writing, and arithmetic; but also to expand our curriculum to include 21st Century Skills like collaboration, project-based learning, inquiry driven instruction, and so many others. It is impossible to sum-up in brief the huge strides the district has made to ensure that our students are future-ready, and the tremendous independent skills our students have gained as a result. A picture is worth a thousand words, and a well-produced video is worth a thousand pictures! Here is a video that demonstrates the work our teachers and students are involved with every day. By the way--even the video was student created and produced. Go Knights!
